Back in 2015, the brand released a series of short films starring Elijah Wood titled The Postman’s Dreams, written and directed by American filmmaker Autumn de Wilde for its Galleria bag. Now, the Italian house has enlisted director Ryan Hope to create a new series – entitled The Delivery Man – dedicated to its Cahier bag. Featuring Academy Award-winning actor JK Simmons, “Midnight Request” is the first episode belonging to the trio of cinematic clips. Other well-known stars featured in the films include actress Pom Klementieff, Sasha Lane and Bahia Gold – each chosen to represent an array of talent across generations and encapsulate the diverse identities of the Prada woman. The first film tells the cunning artistries of the delivery man, as he is able to get the package into the most secure locations. The scene begins ominously as the camera zooms in on Simmons as a knife target. Next comes the pulsing beat of the nightclub, a riddle, and a nervous-looking man as the story unfolds. The delivery man, wearing a polished suit and driving his luxury car, heroically arrives at the speed of light to his destination with the Prada Cahier Bag perfectly presented as a cadeau to a pleased customer.
