‘Those Kardashians are so extra’, might be something you’ve often told yourself – especially when you see them matching their cars to their neon manes, or head-to-toe in full Fendi logo outfits (accessorised with a matching buggy). 

Now, you can also add Kim’s latest Instagram post to the list. As a plug for her latest contour kit, she posed in an on-trend neon outfit on Instagram, with an exposed thong poking out the back of the dress – an aesthetic favoured by your fave celebs back in the 00s. OK, so this isn’t just any old thong, though. It’s a Tom Ford-era Gucci thong.

The thong first appeared on the runway at the Italian brand’s SS97 show – the epitome of Ford’s sex-infused designs for the house – and is still one of his most iconic pieces today. They’re still out there on eBay, but will set you back around $1000 (yes, really).
