FashionFirst LookHanging out in a country manor with the new Givenchy gangExclusive: The new Pre-Fall 2018 collection video shows off Clare Waight Keller’s second offering for the Parisian houseShareLink copied ✔️December 8, 2017FashionFirst LookTextDominic Cadogan After months of build-up and a few cat-themed teasers, Clare Waight Keller finally presented her debut collection for Givenchy. Paying homage to the original Hubert de Givenchy and his archive, the collection combined both menswear and womenswear all into one collection. Now, for Waight Keller’s second collection for the house, she has unveiled what she calls “A portrait of the new Givenchy family.” The Pre-Fall collection takes cues from urban influences and just like her debut it was important for the designer to present both together. “The girl that you want to be, she’s chic, intellectual, with a very confident style… the boy is a free spirit, playful,” the designer said. For the collection’s lookbook, Theo Sion shot a gang of Givenchy-clad models in a country manor in Kent. Following the same vibe, the campaign video – that premieres exclusively on Dazed – sees them hanging around the location playing cards, reading books and hanging around on the grounds looking chic. If you can’t wait for the next instalment of Waight Keller’s new Givenchy, you don’t have much longer with a Couture collection that will be unveiled in January shortly before the AW18 menswear and womenswear collections set to be presented in March at Paris Fashion Week.
