Titled The Cara Project, the film will follow the stars journey from the world of modelling to that of acting. While Delevingne has always spoken about her dream of being an actor, the two years have seen her career take off – she’s starred in Paper Towns and Pan, and more recently as the villain Enchantress in Hollywood blockbuster Suicide Squad, alongside Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. And she’s got three further films on the way too: London Fields, Tulip Fever and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Yep she’s come a long way. Originally scouted in 2009, she got her break when Christopher Bailey cast her in Burberry’s SS11 campaign – from there she went on to become the first Insta supermodel, accumulating nearly 35 million followers, countless catwalk spots and ad campaigns, as well as two British Fashion Awards for “Model of the Year”. While The Cara Project doesn’t yet have a release date, Variety says that Revolver Entertainment (who have acquired the doc) intend to release the film on DVD and VOD in the US and Canada in the next few months.
