Over the past seven seasons, Vauxhall Fashion Scout has gone from strength to strength growing their catwalk show figure to 22, showcasing 27 designers and making up a huge chunk of London Fashion Week’s Off-Schedule. Names like Co-operative Designs, Iaonnis Dimitrousis, Horace and Victim have become VFS regulars. The search is now on for designers to come forth for the September 2009 London Fashion Week, showing their S/S 10 collections. Applicants will be judged by the following critera; creativity, quality and business development and will also be judged by a selection panel featuring industry experts.

This season’s competition will be particularly exciting as along with the on-schedule’s move to Somerset House, Vauxhall Fashion Scout will also be getting a new venue.  

Designers can also apply for Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s Merit Award, launched last season as well as be a part of the Ones to Watch show which featured knitwear designer Alice Palmer last time round.
