FashionNewsRihanna opens a very Rihanna pop-up shop in ParisCue denim Manolos, Dior shades and ‘ANTi’ tour merchShareLink copied ✔️July 26, 2016FashionNewsTextTed Stansfield Nowadays, Rihanna as almost as much of a fashion entrepreneur as she is a pop star. She’s the creative director for Puma and the Stance sock company, the face of Dior’s Secret Garden campaign; she has seven fragrances to her name, has designed a pair of sunglasses for Dior, collaborated with Manolo Blanhik on a collection of footwear and now, has opened a pop-up shop at French boutique Colette. The pop-up, which is in-store and online until July 30th, features a lot of her creations – her Stance socks, her Dior sunglasses, her many fragrances and her Manolo Blankhiks. It also includes her ANTi tour merchandise: hoodies and tees bearing Riri’s face and the album’s lyrics, along with caps emblazoned with the slogan “Bitch I know you know”. This isn’t the first time a high-end boutique has stocked an artist’s tour merch though – in May, Justin Bieber launched his Purpose threads at a similar pop-up at VFiles in New York. This, like Rihanna’s pop-up at Colette, perhaps signals the entry of merch into a more legitimate fashion context. Of course, Riri is midway through her ANTi World Tour, and is currently in France. In fact, she made the headlines this weekend for telling people not to play Pokémon Go at her shows. “I don’t want to see you texting your boyfriends or your girlfriends,” she said. “I don’t want to see you catching any Pokémons up in this bitch.” See below for a preview of Rihanna’s pop-up shop at Colette and here to view the whole collection. via colette.frvia colette.frvia colette.frExpand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREMiu Miu gets arty in Paris, plus more fashion news you missed‘He was the ultimate canvas’: Transforming Jacob Elordi into FrankensteinVanmoof8 Dazed Clubbers on the magic and joy of living in BerlinIn pictures: The best street style from a historic Paris Fashion WeekVivienne Westwood’s final project rejuvenates her iconic tits t-shirtIt’s official: Maria Grazia Chiuri is taking over FendiIn pictures: The wildest street style moments at London Fashion WeekJoshua Ewusie was the breakout star of London Fashion WeekTrashy Clothing’s SS26 collection is lifting fashion’s veil of glamourA cult Chicago painter inspired Kiko Kostadinov’s latest showCrack is back at McQueen!
