The Twilight actor, who is currently fronting the new Dior Homme campaign, casually dropped the news in a new interview with Numéro – adding that he’s been working on the collection secretly for two years. “I've started making clothes,” he told the magazine. “For the last two years, I've been visiting producers and craftsmen. There's already quite a few pieces. I love doing it.” Although there’s no news on when his designs will actually surface, Pattinson did drop some hints about the overall aesthetic. “My style is influenced by the cities I go to, sourcing fabrics and local skills,” he explained. “In Los Angeles, it's really easy to work with denim and do workwear inspired clothes. In England, I look more towards wool and knitwear. What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends… But I'm not going into too much detail, I don't want to jinx anything…” The star went on to assure that he wouldn’t be quitting acting anytime soon, though – revealing that he was currently working on projects with both Claire Denis and the Safdie brothers. “With them I’m going to discover another kind of cinema,” Pattinson enthused, before adding that he’d “accepted the idea that it takes time for the most amazing projects to come into existence.” “Crazy things are the most fragile things,” he said. “Sometimes they collapse.” You can read the full interview on the Numéro Homme website here Escape the algorithm!
