In March, Birds Eye View Festival once again showcased the latest fashion films by designers and photographers at a screening event followed by a discussion panel. Dazed Digital have always been quick to showcase the best fashion films, a few of which made it to the screening event, and in a year where fashion film as a medium is being used even more prolifically to communicate a designer's collection, we thought we would single out the highlights of 2009's Fashion Loves Film event.

YSL S/S 2009 | Sarah Chatfield and Chris Sweeney | Yves Saint Laurent | 2008
Sarah Chatfield and Chris Sweeney’s series of seven short films for the YSL Spring/Summer 2009 collection are a tribute to their working relationship with the brand’s creative director, Stefano Pilati. We have showcased three from the series. A former Colonel Blimp production assistant, Chatfield’s breakthrough came with her colourful promo for Lily Allen’s single, Alfie. She has since worked for the Noisettes, Lykke Li and Annie.
