In case you missed it, Kristen Stewart has been chosen by Karl Lagerfeld to star in his latest Chanel short, Once and Forever.

The 11-minute film, which will premiere at the label's upcoming Métiers d’Art show in December, will see Stewart take on the role of none other than Coco Chanel herself. Or rather, an actress prepping for the role of Coco Chanel herself.

According to BTS reports on WWD.com, the film will be K-Stew as we've never seen her before; playing a fiery, temperamental young actress who “locks horns with practically everyone on set”. We may even get a snippet of her singing, as one part of the film will revisit Chanel's past life as an aspiring stage performer.

“(Kristen is) so good,” Lagerfeld told WWD. “I think she’s one of the greatest actors of her generation. She gives the right emotion and the right intensity immediately so it’s very easy to work her...”

Once and Forever was filmed at Luc Besson's Paris studios over two days, and is Lagerfeld's 20th mini movie for the French fashion house. “All my movies about Chanel are better than the biopics,” he said simply. “They’re all horrible.”
