Though ethereal and feminine, it carried a sense of dark romanticism and Victorian gothicism too. Both classic traits of the late Lee McQueen's creative vision, this was something reflected in the David Sims shot campaign – not only in the roses the models hold but in the girls themselves, all of whom embody an offbeat femininity.
