Commissioned by Yahoo Style, the web series will follow Campbell in her day to day life to offer a behind-the scenes insight into how a supermodel has more fun than you. Campbell will executive produce the programme that's set to air on Yahoo Screen, the company's flagship streaming service. Yahoo Style editor-in-chief Joe Zee told Fashionista why he thought she'd be a surefire hit. "I think there's something so unpredictable and spontaneous about her. But my favorite part about Naomi is that a lot of people don't know how hysterical she is, full of bites. You've seen her on TV before and she's always so funny and really engaging." Campbell is no stranger to some screen time, having appeared on Channel 4's Gogglebox along with Kate Moss. She also recently landed a role in the US drama show Empire, playing a woman who pursues a love interest twenty years her junior. Director Lee Daniels described her as "a beautiful actress". I Am Naomi will reportedly draw on the supermodel's connections to the world's most famous and integrate a talk show element into the programme, inviting guests to come and shoot the shit with Campbell. "So many different people from different walks of life love her," he said. "She was with Hillary Clinton the other night and she knows Oprah and Justin Bieber is obsessed with her. I thought, 'Who else can get the cross section of people that Naomi can?'" As yet, there's no date for when the show will be aired, so until then dine out on this clip of Campbell, Moss and Noel Gallagher bitching about crisps.
