She wore a Birds of Paradise-inspired gown designed by McQueen
FKA twigs turned heads at the V&A last night when she arrived in a striking Birds of Paradise-inspired gown designed by Alexander McQueen, first showcased in 2008.
The gala dinner was held to celebrate not just the life of legendary designer Alexander McQueen, who died in 2010, but also the opening of Savage Beauty, the retrospective McQueen exhibiton being held at the V&A museum.
Twigs didn't just show up, she also performed. Susie Bubble shot a video of her performing "Two Weeks", wearing that dress:
Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell also attended the gala, Moss wearing a black lace McQueen dress. Tickets for Savage Beauty are in huge demand – if you haven't been lucky enough to get one then console yourself with our "What To Expect From Savage Beauty" guide and our "What To Do If You Don't Have Tickets For Savage Beauty", self help article.
They're the next best thing, we promise.
