FashionNewsHey, fashion geeks! Prada has put its whole archive onlineYou can now check out runway images, campaigns and films going back all the way to 1987ShareLink copied ✔️February 6, 2015FashionNewsTextZing TsjengPrada's best throwback campaigns Here's a public service announcement for all you fashion obsessives out there: Prada has just put its entire archive online. That's right. If you head over to Future Archive right now, you can now check out the whole catalogue of runway images, advertising campaigns and catwalk videos going back all the way to 1987. That's almost 30 years of Prada, Prada, Prada. The online archive was created as part of Prada's website revamp in December, but it's received precious little attention until some eagle-eyed Livejournal member of the Fashin community realised just how comprehensive it was. Literally every single iconic moment in Prada's history is in there, from the autumn/winter 1994 runway show featuring a young Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and pretty much every 90s supermodel going. There's even video! The site isn't perfect. Navigating isn't as intuitive as you think; you can't automatically enlarge the campaign images just by clicking on them (left-clicking and opening link in a new window will take you to a page with the full campaign and credits). But that doesn't stop it from being a great resource for fashion students to geek out on. Play spot the model with Miuccia's favourites, or check out how the house's codes have evolved over the years. I know how I'll be spending the rest of Friday afternoon. AnOther has a round-up of their fav campaigns; you can check it out over on their site. Ours are in the gallery above. Check out the Future Archive here. Liked this?
