The shoes: The Stella veggie flatform just keeps on rolling with hiking boot wooden platform hybrids. As part of the relaxed tailoring in the show, trousers came with stirrups that were tucked into the shoes. Stand out looks: As the idea of “Avant Normcore” gains momentum at fashion week, we’re looking at the cosy sweater dresses with haphazardly knotted sleeves and the distressed quilted knitwear. Soundtrack: (One More) Silly Bitch by Branko Feat. Njena Reddd Foxxx brought McCartney’s memories of youth-filtered rave bang into the present but Soul II Soul’s Keep On Movin’ took us back in time. The finale: Cara Delevigne and Joan Smalls in their slouchy knotted sweater dress and bomber jackets led the line-up down the runway with a arms-out, skip of a dance to Keep On’ Movin. It wasn’t exactly a rave and yeah, just a bit awkward to watch but it was a dose of fun to kickstart our morning in the Opera Garnier.
