In this instance, on collaborating once again with Fred Perry, Simons reinvents classic aspects of Mod style, such as checkerboard shirts, served up with Americana influences: think varsity jackets and oversized lettering. Pierre Debusscherre is also, naturally, at the forefront of this team, capturing the collection at the striking Hippodrome de Boitsfort (a former racecourse in Brussels built in 1875). The collection was styled by Dazed’s own fashion director Robbie Spencer, a long-time collaborator of Simons and Debusscherre. Here, we bring you an exclusive first look from the collection.
