Ben Sherman has announced the arrival of their new UK website which will play host to a plethora of stylish resources, including online store, men’s lifestyle blog, behind the scenes footage of their SS 09 campaign shoot, the Style Council’s guide to dressing as well as a comprehensive directory of British music. The new website, set to launch in February, boasts an exciting and user friendly shopping experience away from the hectic, bustling atmosphere of the high street.
The online store will stock over 500 of Ben Sherman’s strongest lines, so you can expect to see a wide array of the label’s signature mod inspired clothes, shoes and accessories on the site, as well as a special ‘Look Book’ section to help you put outfits together. The Look Book section includes footage of iconic Ben Sherman images being created, which not only allows users to easily buy the outfits featured, but also provides tips from stylists on how to recreate the looks, right down to the make-up. The accompanying Ben Sherman men’s lifestyle blog, which will be overseen for the first 6 weeks by guest editor, FHM Style Director Steve Beale, will also give sartorial advice for putting seasonal looks together.
The blog, a three times weekly forum, will also discuss men’s topics other than those relating to style, heralding interesting events and reviewing new books and film releases. Parallel to this will be the website’s ‘Big British Sound’ section, featuring news and reviews from the latest gigs, a Hall of Fame and exposure for unsigned bands. Ben Sherman will select one unsigned band a month (unsigned bands can submit their tracks to unsigned@bensherman.co.uk for review) and will promote the chosen band on the website with a full band profile, media player, gallery and much more. The new website is set to be a hub of activity for the up and coming, championing the fresh and the new, and of course, the stylishly inclined.
The new Ben Sherman website launches in Febuary 2009.
