Model Behaviour: Zuzanna Bijoch

For this latest model profile, Harrison Boyce spent a day with Polish model Zuzanna Bijoch during New York Fashion Week, joining her in hair and make up at Tory Burch, and watching from the sidelines at Diesel Black Gold, before jumping on the subway to attend a casting. And later, on to Oscar de la Renta, in no doubt, the same fashion. “In New York, sometimes you take cars and cabs and all that but mostly you use the subway because it’s faster. And during fashion week, stuck in the traffic? You can’t have that.” Not when you book as many shows as Zuzanna, no.

Zuzanna is no stranger to Dazed. Submerged in petals for Pierre Debusschere and Robbie Spencer’s sensual  ‘Holy Flowers’ story in last year's October issue (above), head back further to April 2011 and you’ll find her making a spectacle of several couture pieces for Roe Ethridge and Katie Shillingford (bottom). Her departure from new face territory was swift; Bijoch made her debut at the SS11 shows, snapping up the Prada campaign and walking Miu Miu as an exclusive, later fronting AW12 adverts for Chloe, Proenza Schouler and Louis Vuitton.
