The imagery and installations were based around the lookbook for Andrew Bunney's brilliant A/W12 collection of silver jewellery, presented during London Fashion Week back in February. The DSM basement space, designed by Smyth, also featured a collaboration with Lewis Leathers jackets. The combination of Ridgers' subcultural photographs and Bunney's take on youth culture through his accessories made for a visually strong statement: “I like to see people wear things in a way special and unique to themselves - something which has character but not costume. This selection of Derek's work captures a time of experimentation that encapsulates this for me - the looks are very particular and of their time, yet still feel very contemporary. And most importantly the styles never overshadow the person”, Andrew Bunney said of the collaboration.
