The Stockholm-based brand, founded in 2006 by Cristopher Nying and Jockum Hallin, work closely with art director Tony Cederteg, the man behind the visual presentation of new capsule collection 'Splash', seen here exclusively on Dazed Digital. My favourite of them is the Constellation zip shirt, with a Riri half-zip and shawl collar Continuing the brand's obsession with simple and classic garments manufactured using high quality fabrics, often with a twist and surprising element to the materials, the capsule line is spearheaded by a few colorful and loud shirts. But in true Our Legacy spirit, this burst of summer joy is balanced by more basic and thought-through pieces in the neutral shades that has become their calling card. "This is 'Splash', our mid season injection, full of colour, patterns and prints, a lot of them nature inspired. We are also introducing a new range of hybrid garments, that can be used as shirts, jackets, blazers. My favourite of them is the Constellation zip shirt, with a Riri half-zip and shawl collar", says head designer Cristopher Nying. This is 'Splash', our mid season injection, full of colour, patterns and prints, a lot of them nature inspired In a ironic twist, and totally unconnected to Our Legacy's lookbook, one of the model in Cederteg's shoot is local artist Makode Linde, who almost caused Sweden's culture minister to resign after "she was photographed cutting a cake shaped in the form of a naked black woman". And as the controversy rages on, and a war of words ensues, Our Legacy finds themselves having gained not just one but two splashes...
