Upon deciding to hand over the contents to our readers, as well as fashion, art, and culture enthusiasts across the world, we set up shop with Ebay, and chose Oxfam to benefit from the money raised. The auction runs from November 20-27, 2011. We are auctioning 34 pieces of memorabilia in total, with generous participants ranging from international fashion designers to Dazed’s very own home grown talents. This week we are highlighting a few of the products and the people that chose them. After a stint as a model, Tabitha Simmons moved to Dazed and Confused which marked the beginning of her career as a stylist. She now regularly contributes to Dazed, and AnOther, serves as a contributing editor at Vogue, and has styled catwalk shows for Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen and Zac Posen. Raised in England, Simmons now resides in New York, where she also runs her own shoe line. Today’s highlight comes in the form of a pair of her silver, glittery heels. “Dazed and Confused gave me so much artistic freedom. When I first started at the magazine, I didn’t have a styling career or a shoe line, and now that I do, I realise that it’s all Jefferson’s fault!”, Simmons said.
