The new Design Director produced a forward thinking collection, looking both at the heritage of the company and towards a more futuristic mood. Pringle have been moving forwards with both their mens and womens wear for a number of seasons now, but Carr's collection took another firm step. While the classic feel of Pringle was referenced, a new take on it was solidly instigated. The classic argyle has been reinvented in large print design on sleeveless knits, in bold and bright colours set against deep blues and blacks. Shapes were form fitting and tailored throughout the collection, again adding to a sportier feeling. A military element dropped in through large pocket combat trousers and ribbed cashmere vests technical looking cottons. Mainly colours were darker, navy, khaki and black, with the occasional super bright details. Fluorescent green and yellow stood out against black and again added in that sporty feeling. Polo and turtle neck form fitting sweaters in ribbed cashmere felt futuristic, along with their vibrant prints. The designs were carried over onto the liners of jackets and short sleeve shirts.
