Peaked golf caps were seen throughout almost the entire collection, along with knee-length shorts and Harrington jackets. Although it was a younger, more golf caddy take on the idea generally, the show opened with a few pieces of more formal wear. Double breasted suits, in evening colours along with more extravagant grey silk versions were prominent, as was a double breasted smoking jacket. Pastel blue 2-button editions quickly lightened the tone and took the show into to its fun and relaxed atmosphere. From here on a sense of wit came through with various bold prints including florals in popping colours. These were seen on slim cut trousers, jackets and blousons and of course shirts and t-shirts. The Harrington jackets were also brought up to date with bead-like prints running the seams. A bright sky blue poplin cotton version also stood out. As with so many collections this season, herringbone and houndstooth prints also appeared but in subtle darker colours. These were seen on cropped trousers and ¾ length shorts. Overall there was a sense of schoolboy cheek to the show that felt young and fresh. Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
