Entitled 'Pony Youth', the collection delivers an eclectic mix of pattern and texture with a healthy dose of vintage detailing and sportswear styling. The influence of the work of photographer Perry Ogden, who during the 90's documented the disappearing youth culture at Dublin's horse fairs, adds to the collection's rough and ready, pared down equestrianism feel. The use of fairisle patterning, as seen through Ogden's lens, is reinvented in printed digital form and incorporates horse motifs and off beat colour ways and the straight forward, Irish Estate youths nonchalance pervades throughout. The current Forgotten Future S/S11 collection is available to buy on Oki-Ni and the AW11 collection will be available on Oki-Ni and Asos. Escape the algorithm!
