This release, the design has been updated to look authentically like air traffic control radars, as a homage to the brand’s association with aviation. The BR01-92 will feature graphics with a sweeping light effect on a radar red-tinted crystal screen where the functions of the hands and dials are merged on a single plane. Their three independent concentric discs are marked with luminous beams and the two graduated axes and index indicate the measurement of time. The case's anti-reflective matte black mirrors the screens in air traffic control rooms and its contrast aids for optimal readability. The Red Radar is limited to just 999 pieces worldwide for 2011 retailing at £3,600 Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
