Inspired by Dr. Martens' extensive footwear heritage and focusing on the ideals of British workwear, Dr. Martens' first line for S/S11 features both men’s and women’s clothing and accessories such as chambray and gingham shirts, printed and striped tees for men, alongside a cardigan with set off with a shawl collar. The womenswear pieces include four shirtdresses as longline versions of men’s shirts. In addition to their key pieces, the collection features a Grey Marl Sweatdress with cap sleeves, as well as tees and tee dresses in striped, or muted colour combinations.
