Hans Ulrich Obrist Compiles Formulas for Now

The Swiss co-director of the Serpentine Gallery has come up with a way of fitting every facet of life into a neat formula.

The Periodic Table of Contents
Hans Ulrich Obrist has managed to come up with a formula for practically every aspect of contemporary life in his new book 'Formulas for Now'. Or rather he has asked over 100 contributors from an array of fields other than the obvious mathematics and science to come up with formulas that will resonate with a lot of us more than E=MC2 ever will. The list of contributors include Damien Hurst, Gilbert & George (Obrist also wrote "The Words of Gilbert & George"), Peter Saville and Jeff Koons. Here are a few examples of what to expect from this book of novel answers/questions/possibilities.

Formulas for Now out on 1st September on Thames & Hudson.
