Dakota Fanning graces the front cover of the new Dazed & Confused, ahead of her role as the lead singer of original glam-rock girl rebels the Runaways. With an exclusive shoot by photographer Mark Segal styled by senior fashion editor Katie Shillingford, Dazed speaks with 16-year-old Dakota about her evolution from child actress to scene-stealing star, kicking rock ‘n’ roll ass, and kissing Kristen Stewart. “It’s amazing what a pro Dakota is at just 16, yet she is also such a grounded, friendly girl,” says Dazed senior fashion editor Katie Shillingford. “I think this shoot captures where she's at right now – a beautiful young starlet!” In its new season fashion special, Dazed’s September issue features over 70 pages of collections.
