Produced by Spike Jonze in conjunction with (RED), the event will be live streamed on Facebook. Except for its director Lance Bangs, other celebrities turning up to support the film includes Gabourey Sidibe, Bono, Hayden Christensen and Iman. The Lazarus Effect tackles the HIV/AIDS situation in Africa, responsible for killing more than 20 million people on the continent. But help is being provided and more than three million people in Africa are today receiving treatment. In all this darkness, the film follows a group of people who are part of the lucky ones. We get to see how their lives turn from despair to a more healthy and prosperous lifestyle.
