The word ‘viral’ will have a whole new meaning once Grand Life NYC is done with you. The Soho and Tribeca hotel institution is releasing a series of 60 second long videos onto the internet. The film showed here on Dazed Digital premiered today on the lifestyle brand’s website, and comes courtesy of Greg Foley, Creative Director of Visionaire and Design Director of V Magazine. Spanning fashion, film and culture, the films draws inspiration from Andy Warhol's celebrity silk screens. Foley filmed in stark black and white and added colour in post production. The camera follows two characters through the hotels’ beloved neighbourhoods, featuring the local architecture and historic cobblestone streets. “It is designed to reveal the hidden side of all aspects of New York City culture; from art, film, fashion, music, and dining and nightlife. It’s an intimate introduction to the city as seen through the eyes of those who call it their home”, says Tommy Saleh, Creative Director of Soho and Tribeca Grands.
