Nike continues to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation by launching a global art exhibition and sale that is a new way to aid the LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Campaign. At an event in Los Angeles, Lance Armstrong led 700 cyclists on a two-mile bike ride that then culminated in the unveiling of Shepard Fairey's latest large-scale work that was inspired by Armstrong. Fairey is one of the 20 international artists that will be part of this 'Stages' art tour and sale. This impressive art rollcall includes Tom Sachs, Barry McGee, Marc Newsom, Ed Ruscha, José Parlá, Taryn Simon and Yoshitomo Nara, who are working on their pieces for an exhibition that will be revealed at the Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery in Paris next week. All the unique works of art will then go on for sale with proceeds going to the LAF. The 'Stages' tour will continue to exhibit in New York, Portland and LA.

In addition Nike will be releasing two special sportswear collection, again with all proceeds going to LAF. This comprises of a "Hope Rides Again" apparel and footwear collection as well as a "Greatest Hits" footwear pack.
