Together with Dazed, the ABC Trust presents the A Força da Rua exhibition, bringing together 12 of the world’s most celebrated street artists from Brazil and the UK to work on customising Gibson’s most iconic guitars - from Flying Vs to Les Pauls - which will ultimately be up for auction to raise funds and awareness. News just in is that CCS’s Lovefoxxx has also been invited to transform a guitar into an art work for the exhibition. The project was documented by director Lorna Lavelle, the 24-year-old up-and-coming filmmaker recently featured in Vogue for her fashion films for SHOWstudio, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. The A Força da Rua short can be seen below, and will not be her last foray into art documentaries. Watch out for Lavelle’s forthcoming films on the Warhol-era satire Brand X and the feature length Brazilian art doc Weapon of Choice.
