As featured in the May issue of Dazed, the Action for Brazil’s Children Trust, the charity founded by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and his wife Jimena, work through art and culture projects to help Brazil’s most vulnerable street children. Together with Dazed, the ABC Trust presents the A Força da Rua exhibition, bringing together 12 of the world’s most celebrated street artists from Brazil and the UK to work on customising Gibson’s most iconic guitars - from Flying Vs to Les Pauls - which will ultimately be up for auction to raise funds and awareness. News just in is that CCS’s Lovefoxxx has also been invited to transform a guitar into an art work for the exhibition.

The project was documented by director Lorna Lavelle, the 24-year-old up-and-coming filmmaker recently featured in Vogue for her fashion films for SHOWstudio, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. The A Força da Rua short can be seen below, and will not be her last foray into art documentaries. Watch out for Lavelle’s forthcoming films on the Warhol-era satire Brand X and the feature length Brazilian art doc Weapon of Choice.

A Força da Rua launches with a private view this Wednesday April 22nd at East London’s theprintspace gallery on Kingsland Road and you can win an exclusive signed Calma x Kid Acne exhibition print by clicking here.
