It was only a matter of time before this happened. Jaden Smith, son of Will and sayer of some of the most profoundly perplexing shit ever, has apparently taken the next step towards his goal of becoming a philosopher. According to unconfirmed reports in US Weekly, the 17-year-old has decided to publish his very own book of navel-gazing personal essays. All our prayers have finally been answered. 

“Jaden sees himself as a modern-day prophet and is working on a collection of essays,” reveals an alleged ‘friend’ of the star. “They’re new takes on string theory and chaos theory, but more mystical. Jaden thinks he has spiritual ties to people in other dimensions and galaxies, and they are helping him write.”

While the the story admittedly isn’t very reliable, the news definitely could be true. Especially when you consider that Smith once nobly compared himself to Galileo, and came out with the haunting classic: “When you think about an apple, you also think about the opposite of an apple.” You could basically base a whole book on that, right?
