The alt porn actress, who dated Deen back in 2013, posted the shocking claims on Saturday – writing that she couldn't continue to “nod and smile” when people brought him up. “That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolising the guy who raped you as a feminist,” she tweeted. “That thing sucks.” “James Deen held me down and fucked me while I said no, stop, used my safeword. I just can't nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.” That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. I just can't nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.— Stoya (@stoya) November 28, 2015 Actor James Deen, who starred in Bret Easton Ellis’s The Canyons, has been hailed as the world’s first “feminist porn star”. He even had an advice column on The Frisky, called “What Would James Deen Do?” – which was immediately suspended once the accusations were made. “I don’t need Stoya or any woman to ‘prove’ that she has been raped for me to believe her,” wrote Editor-in-Chief Amelia McDonnell-Parry. “Women who come out as rape victims are far, far, far too often not believed. This is especially true of women who work in the sex industry, with people actually wondering aloud if porn stars can be raped.” Fellow adult film star Tori Lux has also stepped forward with accusations against the actor today; claiming that he abused her in 2011 while they were working together. Deen responded to Stoya’s allegations last night on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, calling them both “egregious” and “false and defamatory”.
