In collaboration with beer company Red Stripe, the first of the projects kicks off tonight (16th November) at Village Underground, in which sound artist Yuri Suzuki will exhibit his gigantic sound sculpture cleverly made out of recycled Red Stripe cans that were partly collected at this year’s Notting Hill Carnival. The 2.5 metre high sculpture draws inspiration from, and works like, a fully rigged towering, heavy-bass Jamaican sound systems. To help bring Suzuki’s creation to life, DJs, BEN UFO and MC Chunky are set to perform an exclusive set through the sounds system to a live audience. If you want to be a part Red Stripe are giving away limited tickets to the event, so to make sure it’s not too late and for more details about the event, visit their Facebook page HERE.
