It’s no surprise that Andy Warhol kick started Absolut’s artist series, after a commission for a painting destined for the Absolut offices took on a life of its own. This was followed in quick succession by legendary pop artists Keith Haring and Kenny Scharf, and since those first collaborations, over 400 exclusive pieces of art have been created by the likes of Damien Hirst, Nam June Paik, Chris Ofili and Kurt Vonnegut. This rich artistic heritage is once again showcased with a new generation of artists for the Absolut Blank campaign, where three exclusive new collaborations have been created on a large scale, outdoor installation on the facade of Cordy House on Curtain Road in east London. Collaborating with the brilliantly subversive, bacchanalian Le Gun illustrator Neal Fox re-imagining Vince Taylor, the inspiration for David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust, flanked by the abstract colour creations of Gabriel Dubois and the surreal portraiture of Cyclops - this exclusive Absolut Blank trinity is the inspiration for a very special Willy Wonka-style golden ticket art giveaway within the pages of Dazed & Confused. Three exclusive golden tickets have been placed inside three copies of Dazed & Confused available across the UK. Three lucky readers will win a limited edition, 1-of-1 original art pieces from Neal Fox, Cyclops and Gabriel Dubois, framed and signed, inspired by the Absolut Blank campaign. Check out the Dazed and Absolut Facebook and Twitter over the next two weeks for hints of where and when the golden tickets are released.Photos by Jeff Yiu & Will TisdallNeal Fox, Cyclops and Gabriel Dubois’s Absolut Blank mural is up at Cordy House, 87 - 95 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3EE Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREWhy did Satan start to possess girls on screen in the 70s?Learn the art of photo storytelling and zine making at Dazed+Labs8 essential skate videos from the 90s and beyond with Glue SkateboardsThe unashamedly queer, feminist, and intersectional play you need to seeParis artists are pissed off with this ‘gift’ from Jeff KoonsA Seat at the TableVinca Petersen: Future FantasySnarkitecture’s guide on how to collide art and architectureBanksy has unveiled a new anti-weapon artworkVincent Gallo: mad, bad, and dangerous to knowGet lost in these frank stories of love and lossPreview a new graphic novel about Frida Kahlo
