Dazed got a sneak peek of knitwear label Sibling's Frankenstein laboratory creation and we're totally petrified in a good way. Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery are now into their fourth collection and after creating unique pieces like the knitted biker and the destroyed denim jacket in yarn, they now bring you their extreme knitted monster. It begins with a raffia mohican hat and then carries on in a Fairisle pattern dotted with skulls and Frankensteins, that makes this one lovable creature. The rest of the collection carries this Scary Fairisle pattern as well as other unexpected elements; like a ski sweater made in collaboration with illustrator Will Broome. Frankenstein gets pixelated into a slimey green mish mash on a jumper. A puffa jacket is replicated in knit and given foil lamination for extra sheen. In addition there are also recognisable Sibling motifs like the Noah skull and the leopard sequin. All in all, Sibling takes us on a kitsch Ghost Train ride and we're happy to be there. The collection will once again be presented as part of the Fashion East menswear presentations on the 24th January with a film made with This is Real Art that will also be shown on Dazed Digital.
