The ‘Creation’ brogue has been recreated by Salvatore Ferragamo in honour of Andy Warhol, one of the great admirers of Ferragamo’s creativity who often wore these shoes in his studio given their comfort, allowing him to paint for hours on end. After his death, the Ferragamo family won an original pair owned by Warhol at an auction. The artist had worked in the shoes, and often becoming brushed with paint and speckled with drops of colour.

The only men’s model that Salvatore Ferragamo has ever created in his entire career, the brogue will be available this March 2010 at London's Dover Street Market
