Volcom is probably best known for being purveyors of the highest quality skate, surf and snowboard gear. Started in 1991, Volcom was born instilled with the mantra "youth against establishment" that has stuck with them throughout the years which has seen them branch out into Volcom Entertainment, the record label.  Since 1995, Volcom Ent have been releasing a wide spectrum of albums from independent artists ranging from rock, indie to metal. One of the acts that they have supported, Riverboat Gamblers have been touring UK and Europe on the back of the release of their second album 'Underneath the Owl'.
 
Along the way, Volcom have nurtured a relationship with Pearl Jam and to coincide with the re-issue of their seminal debut album 'Ten', comes a Pearl Jam/Volcom tee and 7in record featuring live recordings. To bring Volcom Ent and Volcom closer together, for the first season ever, there's now a dedicated Volcom Entertainment collection as part of the girls' A/W 09 line. Inspired by their bands and gigs that the design team go to, the collection comprises of band artwork tees, skinny jeans in vintage washes, fleece jackets with motorcycle detailing and shiny slick leggings.
