The RCA fashion MA show is one of the most important events of the year for new designer talent. This year Dazed has once again infiltrated one of London’s best colleges to seek out the cream of the class of 2008. We have been given an exclusive preview of the talent showing this year and have selected our favourite menswear and womenswear designers who we think will go far this season. Later this month we will be following this feature up with coverage of the RCA fashion show to see the results of all the hard work. To buy tickets for the show on 11th June, call 020 7590 4566 or click here.

My MA collection "Up Close" is an investigation of, and play on, my favourite garments, fabrics and textures. A white T-shirt, jeans, a knitted cable jumper, a pea coat, grey marl, an anorak, toggles and herringbone are being reworked and represented in different material or texture from what they normally come in - blown up or mixed together so they become camouflaged by each other.

How old are you?
24.

How long have you been designing?
Around 10 years.

What nationality are you?
Norwegian.

Where are you based?
London.

With all of the press interest in your collection what are your plans now?
Firstly I have to finish the collection for the RCA show in June, then I have been selected to show at the ITS Seven competition in Italy in July.

What is your dream job?
At the moment it would be a dream to work in New York.

Who are your favourite designers?
Alber Elbaz, Maison Martin Margiela, Jil Sander, Margareth Howell, Calvin Klein.
