A new wave of psychedelic art is splicing together YouTube videos, internet graphics and forgotten technologies to create mind-bending forms that reflect our media-saturated age. In the current Dazed October issue, our visual arts editor Francesca Gavin takes a trip to its outer limits. It was never going to be enough just to write about it though, and so we have curated an online exhibition here of four pieces of work by the medium's pioneers, all featured in the October issue.

The Turner Prize nominee curated the event The Psychosomatic Acid Test at the GSK space in London earlier this year and created the cerebral-bending installation The Eye Don't See Itself.
