Phil Hoad is Dazed & Confused's film editor and also writes for The Observer. He hates being asked what his favourite film is, but depending on who he's trying to impress, will probably say The Wicker Man or Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. He also likes cats, surfing and investigating horrible parts of London on foot. He lives in Kentish Town, but is from Hull, which probably explains a lot.
