Katie is a narcoleptic writer. In an attempt to carve a career out of being sleepy, she's written about the condition for The Guardian, has been interviewed on BBC worldservice and is writing a book of stories about sleep. She studied Archaeology before interning at the BBC and Marie Claire, and is now studying journalism at Goldsmiths whilst writing for Amelia's magazine. When she was little, Katie wanted to be a mermaid, but now realises that she would miss shoes and treehouses far too much.
