With her fearless use of colour and refusal to be held back by convention, make-up artist Lynski is breaking the rules of beauty and creating luscious looks while doing so. Originally from Latvia, now based in London, Lynski’s ethereal yet futuristic make-up masterpieces begin as a whirlwind of ideas in her self-proclaimed restless mind, which she then translates onto faces with lustrous pigments and vibrant, colourful accents.
Alongside a feed full to the brim of intricate linear rainbow face paint creations and virtual reality looks, Lynski’s Instagram has inspired a social media challenge – #lynskidare – in which people recreate her signature lipstick-swirled face. Unsurprisingly, Lynski counts this among the highlights of her career. “It feels like my baby that everyone loves and it has grown so much and definitely became a big part of the Lynski brand,” she says. With a Brooke Candy music video under her belt already, 2019 is ramping up to be a big year.
