Danielle Neu
Photographer

Her black-and-white creations hark back to old Hollywood, but this newcomer is one of Los Angeles’ most exciting up-and-coming photographers
Since trading in painting for photography, Danielle Neu now shoots editorials for magazines including Dazed and AnOther.
As an artist drawn to the fashion photograph, each shot in Neu’s portfolio is a stellar performance – hair, make-up, and clothing are all part of her palette to create a persona.
She moves between fashion magazines and gallery exhibitions to collaborations with artists such as Odwalla1221 and underground publisher V. Vale of Search and Destroy.
Neu’s portraits are a trip into a dreamy realm, harking back to black and white Hollywood – where she now lives. Her monochromatic images somehow capture the technicolour aura of her muses that range from revered actor Willem Dafoe to supermodel Luna Bijl.
