My Bloody Valentine, Arca, and more to curate special NTS shows

Mica Levi, Amaarae, and Simpsons creator Matt Groening will also contribute to the tenth anniversary broadcast

NTS Radio has announced a new series of shows to celebrate ten years of live broadcasting. The week-long charity broadcast will include “guest radio shows, soundscapes, conversations, and performances” with appearances from a range of artists and performers.

Among the ten artists curating shows are My Bloody Valentine, Arca, Amaarae, Mica Levi, Laurie Anderson, Patia Borja (of Patia’s Fantasy World fame), and The Simpsons creator Matt Groening.

The series of shows — which begins on April 19, running until April 23 — will also raise money for the Global FoodBanking Network, an organisation that fights world hunger through supporting food banks and reducing food waste.

Last month, My Bloody Valentine made their entire back catalogue available online for the first time, following news that they have signed with Domino Records. New music is also on the way, with the band reporting that they’re working on two albums that will “probably be finished by the end of the year”.

Take a look at the full NTS 10 lineup below. The full schedule is set to arrive on Wednesday, April 14.
