In its video, directed by Tommy Malekoff, SALEM chase a tornado, Twister-style. The band’s Jack Donoghue and John Holland worked with IRL storm trackers to follow the storms between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dallas, Texas during tornado season. Earlier this week, SALEM shared an official stream of their STAY DOWN mix, which was originally broadcast on NTS Radio in May this year. The mix includes another new song, “CAPULETS (LEAK)”. The group’s last release of original material as a band was 2011’s I’m Still in the Night EP, which followed their 2010 album King Night. SALEM have mostly been quiet since then, although they did briefly return in 2016 with a remix of Wolfgang Tilmans’ “Make It Up as You Go Along”. Watch the “Starfall” video below.
