Listen to a previously-unreleased Prince track, ‘Cosmic Day’

The song will feature on the upcoming reissue of Sign O’ The Times

A previously-unreleased Prince song has been shared by the musician’s estate. Titled “Cosmic Day”, the track comes ahead of the release of a remastered and expanded edition of Prince’s 1987 album Sign O’ The Times.

When it releases in full on September 25, the 2020 version of Sign O’ The Times will provide plenty more unreleased tracks for Prince fans to enjoy (60, to be exact).

The remastered record, which was announced in June, will also come alongside two full concert recordings, including Prince’s only onstage collab with Miles Davis.

Back in May, the Prince Estate also streamed a 1985 concert from the artist’s Purple Rain tour, live for three days, to benefit coronavirus relief efforts. Previously-unheard material by Prince aired in the same month, including the demo of a radio special recorded in 2005.

Listen to the newly-released “Cosmic Day” below.
