Since lockdown began, he’s used his livestreams to showcase his take on tracks by Radiohead, Billie Eilish, and Frank Ocean, and now he’s covered Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You” on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Appearing on Corden from his home, Blake sang Mitchell’s 1971 original on a piano in a sunlit room. Speaking to host James Corden, he also said that he was working on a new album, and that his latest single “You’re Too Precious” would likely appear on it, although he admitted that it was “quite different” to the rest of the music he’s working on. Blake previously covered “A Case of You” for his Enough Thunder EP way back in 2011. Watch both the performance and short interview below. Escape the algorithm!
