Nicolás Jaar is releasing a new album, Cenizas

It’s the producer and FKA twigs collaborator’s first album under his own name in four years

Nicolás Jaar is releasing a new album, Cenizas, on March 27, and he’s shared its first taste of it in the form of the track “Sunder”.

Cenizas is the producer’s first album under his own name since Sirens came out back in 2016. The album captures Jaar’s creative work from 2017 to 2019.

Since Sirens, Jaar has remained relatively prolific, evne if he hasn’t put out a full-length record. In January he shared an album under the name Against All Logic, and he also worked with FKA twigs on her album MAGDALENE (twigs returned the favour when she appeared on the Against All Logic single “Alucinao”).

Jaar will perform at a showcase for his label, Other People, at Urvakan Festival in Armenia, which takes place between May 5 and 9.

Listen to “Sunder” below.
