Watch King Krule’s trippy new video for ‘Cellular’

The opening track from upcoming album Man Alive! comes with a new video by Rick & Morty animator Jamie Wolfe

With the arrival of King Krule’s album Man Alive! fast approaching (February 21), Archy Marshall has dropped a new track, “Cellular”, along with a trippy music video from Rick & Morty animator Jamie Wolfe.

The music video, which sees some people in flashy boots dancing on some wobbly telephone wires, is the opening track from the new album, which follows last year’s Hey World! EP of acoustic songs.

Described in a press release as “a collection of snapshots and stories”, the album was partially recorded in south London, and later in Stockport after Marshall moved to the north of England after finding out he was going to be a father. According to the press release, the album still reflects Marshall’s experiences pre-fatherhood.

Earlier this month, the musician released new track “Alone, Omen 3”, and a corresponding music video by London-based artist Jocelyn Anquetil. Read our interview with Anquetil on the visuals here.
